Paper Mache
Workshop participants will learn basic paper-mache techniques to build portable sculptures such as fish (Arroyo Chub, Steelhead), coyotes, and birds (egrets).
Printmaking
Workshop participants will learn basic block-printing techniques (printing and carving) and create designs that contribute to a collective artwork for Procession.
Inspired by the LA River and its living ecosystem we will collectively create objects and designs that highlight the relationship between humans and all other forms of life such as plants, animals, and water!
All are welcome!
- Suitable for all ages and skill levels! No previous experience needed.
- No materials needed – we will provide everything.
- Kids under 12 must be accompanied.
